Thankful for the Folks @ Seeds Family Worship

Thank You for Sharing:

Thankful to be linking up with Marsha @ Thankful Thursdays as I praise God for all He’s done for us this week, especially the donation from Seeds Family Worship for my first give-away and review!

I’m a little late in the game this week, not exactly Thursday, but I am nevertheless thankful. In real life and blog life, some could call it a bleak week. However, I am choosing to look past the stomach virus and zero view days to focus on the joy of the morning 🙂

So, despite a nasty bug keeping us down, I am very thankful for the timing of it all. I did miss a shift a work on Saturday, but my handsome hubby survived just in time to DJ for the wedding of a family friend (THANKFULLY he kept his distance and only shared his sound skills.) I am incredibly thankful that our Eager Explorer was spared despite everyone else getting one version of the bug fun one way or another.  Now I’m curious if it has anything to do with antibodies in my breast milk? Hmm, now that’s an idea for some interesting research.  Either way, it is totally by God’s amazing grace and I am absolutely full of humble gratitude for His mercy.  We also had a great visit with the grandparents and family, major progress in the homeschool department with Lil’ Lizard and Eager Explorer has tripled in personality overnight!

Real life has me blessed and busy enough that I rarely look at my blog stats. For one, I write from my heart to grow in the Lord as a person and hopefully encourage others do the same and secondly, they are usually pretty slim pickin’s anyways© 2015.  I don’t know what was so different, but my last post pulled in the highest number of views and visitors to date! So I’m uber thankful for that and figure now is a good time to announce a giveaway I’ll be starting June 1st.

This is why I’m so thankful for God’s blessing through the folks at Seed’s Family Worship. Since I’m so new to blogging, I reached out to them a while back about some of my ideas and questions and they responded with nothing but kindness and enthusiasm. I had asked if it was acceptable to do a review of one of their products I purchased and if down the road, I would be permitted to give away one of the extras I have that comes with it. Despite my small, (YET AWESOME) following, they offered to donate the Seeds Family Worship Courage DVD for my giveaway! It’s the exact same one I was going to review and offer myself, so I’m really excited 🙂 Playing around with and learning how to do a giveaway will be so fun, not to mention my first review…..but I really appreciate the opportunity to share such an awesome gift with y’all.  I’ll go into detail later, but long story short, their worship music has really helped Lil’ Lizard not only memorize great scripture verses, but combat his bed time fears.  For that I am eternally grateful.

I’ll go ahead and embed the giveaway here as test run, though it doesn’t officially start until June 1st.

Thank you Marsha once again for hosting Thankful Thursdays! Linking with together really helps to further cultivate a thankful heart no matter what is “bugging” me this week 😉 Feel free to join the party and share what you are thankful for this week too!  No pressure to write a full post, the comments are open to everyone!

P.S.  I’m not sure what the legalities are about links and reviews yet, but in case you were wondering, I am NOT paid or otherwise reimbursed by Seeds Family Worship or anyone for my opinions, links or review.  They simply offered to donate to my READERS for my first giveaway 🙂

  1. Hi Cookie! I’m thankful you and hubby are better after the stomach bug. I have another friend that went down for the count a week ago Friday and it took her all week to get over it.

I’m familiar with Seed Family Worship….simply love their stuff. I may enter this for my daughter who’s a missionary in Kenya. I know my granddaughters would enjoy it.

Praying you continue to heal and have a peace filled weekend. Thanks for being a part of our Thankful Thursday community. I got your message. I’m not sure why you were unable to leave a comment. No one else did this week either. I’ll need to explore that problem to see if the problem was on my end.

Oh, and breakfast recipes will be up Tuesday under the Journey to Healthy Living page.

    1. When I read your line about your friend, I instantly thought…”struck down but not destroyed, for we blessed beyond the curse, for his promise will endure….and HIS joy will be my strength”! All the more reason I really appreciate the Seed Family Worship we were able to play and have His word floating around our house this week. That’s so wonderful your daughter is a missionary in Kenya! She must take after her mighty Mama 😉 Thank you for your prayers and for welcoming me into Thankful Thursdays…it has been a wonderful blessing. I’ll keep my eyes peeled over the week to see if the comment issue was just that post or if it’s a pattern. I know I’ll definitely be there Tuesday to find your yummy breakfast recipes! 🙂

  2. We have several of the Seeds CDs and have enjoyed them. Nice to see you doing a giveaway and review. I’ll look forward to it.

    1. I’m glad to hear so many people know about Seeds Family Worship, they are “new” to us but becoming quite a favorite 🙂 I’m really excited to try a review and my first give-away, thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  3. I am thankful for an awesome family and friends, from my hubs, our kids to my siblings, sister in law, and my nieces and nephews! I love them all and they all richly bless my life!

    1. What a gift of God indeed! I’m sure they are equally blessed by having such a wonderful friend, wife, mother, sister (in law), and aunt to love and appreciate them 🙂 Thank you BlueJazmine for sharing your gratitude with us this week, and joining in with the Thankful Thursday community! 🙂
